We are looking for a Health Benefits Analyst for Milliman Atlas / HigherEDGE, to assist with projects related to finding, organizing, and analyzing data about employer health plans, and implementing software solutions for our public employer and higher education clients. What You Will Do
The Health Benefits Analyst will support Milliman Atlas of Public Employer Health Plans and Milliman HigherEDGE by finding, organizing, and analyzing data about employer health plans. The Health Benefits Analyst will implement software solutions for our public employer and higher education clients.

Professional Qualifications:
Prior experience analyzing and benchmarking group, health, life, and retiree benefits Prior experience with public employer health plans Prior experience working in a consulting environment Experience in data analytics and tool development Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge in R and/or Power BI a plus Bachelor’s degree, GPA 3.5 or above Familiarity with employer communications used for annual benefit enrollmentPersonal Qualifications:

The Milliman Atlas of Public Employer Health Plans and Milliman HigherEDGE are a research effort created to support and improve public-sector decision making by providing data-driven health plan benchmarking and analysis. The data has been collected from various sources for public employers at all levels – state, county, municipality, school district, and university. The team ensures that clients are best equipped to address their needs with this continually updated data that grows richer and deeper over time.
Location
The Health Benefits Analyst position is a part-time, hybrid role. Hired candidates will be required to work in-person in the San Diego, CA Milliman office on a weekly basis, but flexible work arrangements will be considered. The expected application deadline for this job is February 28, 2025.
Compensation
This is a part-time, non-exempt position working fewer than 30 hours per week. Employees in this role are eligible for overtime pay for hours worked beyond 40 in a workweek. The hired candidate will be paid on an hourly basis in the range of $28 - $42 depending on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, location, etc.
