Location: Wesley Chapel Hospital (Occasional travel to St Joseph Hospital North)Status: Full timeShift: 8:00am -4:30pm Days: Monday through Friday (Occasional Saturdays for events)This Health Care Navigator opportunity is a full-time position. This position requires on-site work within the Wesley Chapel Hospital.
Responsibilities:
The Health Care Navigator is responsible for providing eligibility and enrollment assistance to uninsured and underinsured individuals and families and to anyone seeking more affordable health care options. The Health Care Navigator is required to participate in community events, travel to offsite locations to meet with individuals, and public speaking to raise awareness about health insurance coverage options. As part of the Financial Assistance department, this position will support all efforts to assist the uninsured and underinsured patients, as well as insured patients with health care access issues; including enrollment, education, appointments, transportation and prescriptions.
