Roles and Responsibilities

Assess health care needs of individual team members as well as population based needs assessments by departments directed toward the promotion, protection, and restoration of health within the context of a safe and healthy work environment. Providing consultation, education, interpretation and implementation of all state, federal, and OHS regulations and guidelines governing worker health and safety. Collaborating with physicians, manufacturing managers, safety and other appropriate colleagues to identify and problem-solve medical/health concerns, safety and hazardous conditions, and return to work programs. Job functions include but are not limited to: OSHA required health surveillance programs, case management and worker's compensation management, health education and promotion, and ergonomic evaluations. Provides input into program specific policies and procedures. Participates in the preparation of statistical review, analysis, and reporting to management or program lead on above stated programs.
