**Position Overview:** We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Health Economics Intern to join our International Occupational Health and Wellbeing department. This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in within a dynamic and international environment. The intern will be responsible for analyzing occupational health contracts across EMEA (Europe, Africa, and the Middle East), ensuring that our occupational health services are effectively supporting GE HealthCare operations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Analyze occupational health contracts for all occupational health services provided to GE HealthCare operations in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
+ Support the development of cost-benefit analyses and economic models to optimize occupational health strategies.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and interpret data related to occupational health and wellbeing.
+ Prepare detailed reports and presentations on findings and recommendations.
+ Contribute to the continuous improvement of occupational health services by identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency gains.
**Qualifications:**
+ Pursuing a degree in Health Economics, Public Health, Economics, or a related field.
+ Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and contracts.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a multicultural environment.
+ Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Previous experience or coursework in health economics or public health.
+ Familiarity with occupational health regulations in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
+ Availability at least 6 months.
+ Knowledge of French, German or another relevant languages is a plus, Dutch is not required.
