Mountain View Hospital is looking for a Health Informatic Specialist to join our team!

 

JOB SUMMARY:       

Informatics is dedicated to delivering high quality patient care through efficient management of data and technical systems. The Health Informatics Specialist is responsible for the assessment, planning, training, implementation, evaluation and optimization of informatics projects. She/he serves as the primary interface between patient care services, Clinical Engineering and Information Services to ensure multi- and inter-disciplinary project coordination. She/he also participates in communications and project planning regarding system implementation and integration with other MVH initiatives. She/he is knowledgeable about healthcare processes and practice, relevant regulatory mandates, and principles of quality/safety improvement. The informatics projects are planned and implemented using evidence-based practices for planning, understanding, guiding and delivering responsible patient care.
