The Health Information Specialist / Program Assistant (HIS/PA) supports the general operations of the program through a variety of clerical and organizational tasks. The HIS/PA is involved with keeping records, maintaining paperwork, scheduling meetings, and answering phones. The Administrative Assistant also performs special projects as requested.

 

ABOUT WRAPAROUND

Seneca offers intensive "Wraparound" services to children and youth at risk of placement in a high-level residential treatments or juvenile hall, and to their families. The Wraparound programs are strengths-based, family-driven, flexible, and creative, with the goal of helping the family develop the skills and supports to prevent or reduce the possibility of residential placement of their child. A family-based team addresses the needs of the entire family, not just the at-risk child. This family-based team consists of family members, Seneca's Care Coordinators, Youth counselors, Parent Partners, Permanency Specialist and other community members who have an important role in the family,

Responsibilities Maintain department filesAnswer multiple phone lines, transfer calls, and record messagesPhotocopy, fax, and distribute incoming mailMaintain department purchase order requestsRun periodic and special reports as directed by supervisorPrepare correspondence (letters, memos, protocols, conferences, etc.)Maintain and update program documents and manualsSchedule and follow-up on projects and requestsDocument program meetings.
Qualifications

Required:

Education/Experience requirements: Bachelor’s degree OR Associate’s degree and 1 year of applicable work experience OR High school diploma/GED + 2 years of applicable work experience Applicable work experience includes any administrative position (paid or unpaid) requiring frequent data entry, ability to prioritize multiple projects within strict deadlines, and coordination with multiple departments Must be at least 21 years of ageOwn vehicle, Valid California driver's license and insurability with Seneca's automobile policyTB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirementsMust show proof of COVID-19 vaccination
