Health Information Technology Instructor Pool-Part-Time
Location: Cypress College Department: CC Health Science Percentage of Employment: Part-Time Work Schedule: Varies Primary Purpose: Duties and responsibilities as presented are intended to be representative and not restrictive. The District reserves the right to modify the assignment and allocation of duties in accordance with operational needs. Minimum Qualifications: Any Bachelor’s degree or higher AND two (2) years of professional experience directly related to the teaching assignment OR Any Associate degree AND six (6) years of professional experience directly related to the teaching assignment OR the equivalent. Equivalent qualifications may include related education, training, employment and professional experience that would be equal to the required degree(s) and experience in this field as determined by the District Equivalency Committee. AND Current Certification as a Registered Health Information Administrator ( RHIA ) or Registered Health Information Technician ( RHIT ). Commitment to diversity. Experience with distance education and Canvas learning module a plus. Ability to support or contribute equitable outcomes and success for all students and/or employees. This includes the ability to effectively engage the college’s diverse student and/or employee population and the ability to address equity, inclusion and diversity. Salary Range: $1391.74 - $1527.30 per lecture unit rate, $1391.74 - $1527.30 per lab parity unit rate, $1113.42 - $1221.77 per lab unit rate
