Primary Purpose:

Minimum Qualifications:
Any Bachelor’s degree or higher AND two (2) years of professional experience directly related to the teaching assignment
OR
Any Associate degree AND six (6) years of professional experience directly related to the teaching assignment
OR
the equivalent. Equivalent qualifications may include related education, training, employment and professional experience that would be equal to the required degree(s) and experience in this field as determined by the District Equivalency Committee.
AND
Current Certification as a Registered Health Information Administrator ( RHIA ) or Registered Health Information Technician ( RHIT ).

Desirable Qualifications:
Knowledge of legal aspects, statistics, technology, pharmacology, revenue cycle management, ICD -10 and CPT coding.
Experience with distance education and Canvas learning module a plus.

Salary Range: $1391.74 - $1527.30 per lecture unit rate, $1391.74 - $1527.30 per lab parity unit rate, $1113.42 - $1221.77 per lab unit rate
