**Health Professions Program Coordinator** **D27** **W. Candidates who are excited by changing lives, committed to the success of all and want to be challenged by new and innovative opportunities, should submit an application. **Summary:** The selected candidate of the Health Professions Program Coordinator position will be responsible for scheduling all nursing and health professions programs academic activities, both undergraduate and graduate, to meet student needs. The Health Professions Program Coordinator will be primarily responsible for overseeing and maintaining the BSNA curriculum. The Health Professions Program Coordinator will oversee course coordination, support mentors and educators, and guide students to ensure a high-quality, cohesive educational experience. While not responsible for direct teaching, the Health Professions Program Coordinator must understand online and hybrid curriculum delivery, active learning strategies, and the development of valid and reliable assessment methods. **Examples of Work:** -Coordinate the delivery of all courses within a designated program, ensuring alignment with program outcomes, accreditation standards, and evidence-based teaching practices. -Oversee the implementation of online learning experiences ensuring they are consistently aligned with program outcomes. -Participate in regular meetings with staff, mentors, and educators to review curriculum alignment, share updates, and address challenges to ensure consistency in course delivery. -Interface with third-party vendors for student resource procurement, setup, and maintenance including ATI, Wolters Kluwer Coursepoint+, and Examsoft. -Prepare third-party resources such as eBooks, interactive resources, and NCLEX-RN prep for prelicensure students. -Serve as a mentor resource, providing guidance on course policies, grading standards, and instructional methods to promote a unified approach across sections. -Participate in the planning and delivery of course orientations and educational sessions for mentors and educators, ensuring alignment with program standards and promoting consistency in instruction and assessment. -Collaborate with mentors and educators in addressing student inquiries and implementing effective teaching strategies that support a cohesive learning environment. -Facilitate the student-to-student (peer mentoring) support programs to foster student success. -Participate in the planning and delivery of student success and engagement functions such as student orientation, pinning, and commencement. -Facilitate the administration of course assessments ensuring they meet program standards and are applied consistently across courses. -Coordinate the exam blueprinting and item analysis process. -Track and review student performance data and provide feedback to ensure alignment with learning outcomes and recommend areas for improvement. -Participate in program evaluation and accreditation processes to maintain transparency, uphold high standards, and ensure regulatory compliance. **Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:** -Strong organizational and time management skills. -Attention to detail. -Good communication and interpersonal skills. -Ability to work independently and as part of a team. -Proficiency with computer applications (e.g., MS Office Suite, Google G suite, Learning Management Systems). -Experience with instructional support technologies (e.g., ATI, Publishers’ digital platforms, ExamSoft) preferredExperience in online nursing education. -Enhanced customer service knowledge. -Perform other appropriate and reasonably required duties assigned by the Dean. -This position is based in an office environment with exposure to standard skills, but mobility for travel to TESU is expected. **Requirements:** Education: Graduation from an accredited college with a Bachelor's degree supplemented by a Master's degree in Nursing or a field related to the position to be filled or equivalency as determined by the appointing authority. Experience: Three years professional experience in an institution of higher education or administrator in education, higher education or other field that is directly related to the functions of the position to be filled or equivalency as determined by the appointing authority. -Applicants who do not possess the required education may substitute required experience on a year-for-year basis (30 credit hours is considered one year of college). -A Ph.D. or an Ed.D. degree may be substituted for two years of the required experience. _*TESU strives to offer a flexible work environment while balancing the operational needs of the University.
