Health Psychologist/Clinical Psychologist – Neurosurgery Brachial Plexus and Pain

Work Schedule: 

70% FTE, days. You may be eligible for up to a $7000 sign-on bonus. You will work at 1102 S Park St and 4602 Eastpark Blvd.

Pay:

The pay range listed reflects both titles at a 7 FTE. This position may be eligible for a $7000 sign-on bonus (pro-rated based on FTE).

We are seeking a Health Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist to:

Evaluate and treat patients referred by the Pain Clinic with chronic pain and other pain-related concerns, requiring short term behavioral interventions.  Evaluate and treat patients referred by neurosurgery for brachial plexus pain and functioning related concerns. Co-facilitate group medical visits (psychoeducation and treatment) for pain management. Conduct Spinal cord stimulator and other procedural evaluations for patients awaiting medical procedures.  Utilize screening measures to monitor progress and outcomes to assess benefits of treatment. Collaborate with medical professionals as well as patients to design specific goals for brief treatment.

Qualifications Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) or Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology or related field Required Work Experience 1 year of post-doc experience in the area of Behavioral Health in a medical setting Required One (1) year of clinical experience or two (2) years of post-doctoral experience in the area of Health Psychology in a medical setting Preferred Licenses & Certifications Licensure or eligible for licensure as a Psychologist in state of practice.
