Job Description

We are looking for a Health & Safety Engineer at our location in Gebze/Kocaeli.

Your tasks:   

Working cooperatively with related areas for creation of safe working environment  Investigate the causes of occupational accidents and occupational diseases in the workplace and work on the measures to be taken in order not to repeat them  Participate in the preparation of emergency plans at the workplace, to monitor and control the periodical trainings and exercises on this subject and to monitor the emergency plan & Plan, implement or control the occupational health and safety training of employees in accordance with the relevant legislation Basic knowledge about sprinkler and gas type firefighting system & investigating the causes of events that have the potential to cause harm to the employee, equipment or workplace and report to the management Checking that the subcontractor Works in the factory area are carried out in accordance with occupational health and safety

 

Your profile:

Bachelor’s degree in related field & Minimum 3 years of experience in Occupational Health & Safety area Having B or A class OHS certificate Fluent in both English and Turkish & Excellent command of MS Office programs  Good communication skills and able to collaborate with cross functional teams Living or willing to live in Asian side of İstanbul or Kocaeli (Gebze & İzmit)
