In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Define and lead the strategic direction and roadmap for health & safety; Develop and implement site-specific health & safety programs to ensure full compliance with legal and corporate standards Lead, coach, and drive initiatives that enhance safety culture and integrate best practices into daily operations; Take a proactive, risk-based approach to identify and mitigate hazards in collaboration with cross-functional teams Provide expert guidance on risk identification and mitigation during process and workstation design; Conduct, coordinate, and coach on risk assessments, safety rounds, external audits, and reviews Evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs using established KPIs, implementing corrective actions based on industry standards and best practices Build strong relationships with business leadership to align health & safety objectives with operational priorities; Develop and present insightful reports to highlight trends, drive awareness, and promote urgency in health & safety performance Provide expert support in incident investigations, offering guidance on corrective actions and preventive measures; Co-own and support facility emergency planning and response initiatives Ensure appropriate training for new hires and provide ongoing development for all employees; Organize and oversee recurring training sessions for LOTO, First Aiders, Workplace Ergonomics, and other key safety programs for both employees and managers

With strong organizational abilities and in-depth expertise in health & safety within an international setting, you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to fostering a strong safety culture.
 

For This Role, You Will Need:

A relevant university degree in safety management or a related field 5–10 years of experience driving a strong safety culture and program development within an industrial environment Solid knowledge of legal requirements, industry best practices, and safety standards; Experience in risk and health/safety management (certifications are a plus) Excellent interpersonal skills and be fluent in both spoken and written English and Swedish

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

Expertise in risk assessment, root cause analysis, and qualitative incident investigations; Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to train and mentor employees effectively A data-driven, risk-based attitude to prioritize and direct safety initiatives; Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving alignment on safety objectives without direct reporting authority
