Your role and responsibilities

In this role as Health & Safety Program Manager you will be able to further educate, coordinate and facilitate HSE management systems, and lead / improve risk reduction methodologies to ensure internal and regulatory compliance. This position will work collaboratively with the MONM global HSE professionals to improve HSE performance and accountability while promoting a positive, learning culture across the organization. This role will report to, and directly support the MONM Global Division HSE Manager.The work model for the role is onsite. This role is contributing to the Motion NEMA Motors in Fort Smith, AR. You will be mainly accountable for:•\tSupport, oversee, and continuously improve the maturation and sustainment of the ABB HSE Management system.•\tSupporting line managers and supervisors in the organization in understanding obligations, liabilities and requirements•\tEnsuring appropriate tools and measures are in place and used effectively, at the same time reporting the HSE incidents.•\tReporting on HSE performance and progress with respect to the Group objectives•\tDrive behavioral change and ensuring HSE capabilities are optimized and aligned to standards and best practicesOur team dynamics You will join a dynamic, talented, high performing team, where you will be able to thrive within Motion.

Qualifications for the role

BA/BS degree with a minimum of ten years of progressive HSE experience with a focus on manufacturing.Formal certification(s) and training in Health, Safety, and Environmental fields.Relevant HSE experience, over 5 years, in HSE management systems.Relevant HSE experience, over 5 years, in HSE training and campaigns.Advanced use of 3rd party data base management systems, MS Office, etc.Travel estimated up to 50%Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
