As the HSSE Support Advisor, your role will involve supporting the HSSE Business Partner (Facilities and Compliance) and managing various non-project-related tasks. These tasks include, but are not limited to, environment, supporting labs, fleet services, office safety, and facility safety. Your goal will be to ensure that core HSSE compliance is established, verified, and maintained in line with the Fugro management system and relevant regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibilities

Lead by example and place Quality, Health & Safety, Security, and the protection of the Environment as core values while never intentionally placing employees, our processes, customers, or the communities in which we live and work at risk. Establish and maintain Lab, Office, and Facility Auditing/Inspection program to drive internal/external compliance, consistency, standardization, best practices, and the identification of lessons learned.Play a crucial role in protecting and managing the environment by working with operational areas to ensure compliance with environmental laws and regulations.Develop and continually improve the management system as it relates to HSSE implementation and execution of Fugro non-project related work locations, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal health, safety, and environmental regulations.Support the development, implementation, and continual improvement of fit-for-purpose emergency response plans and robust facilities risk assessments aimed at addressing site-specific tasks and environmental aspects and impacts at all non-project related work locations.Support the establishment of a filing system to maintain records of facility-related maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and compliance reports.Support sustainability and ESG reporting requirements across US-based facilities.Coordinate with peers from other regions to drive lessons learned and best practices.

Job Requirements

Legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictions.Must have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field; or equivalent education and experience.Possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record.Minimum of five years in a facilities coordination or related role. Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., OSHA) is a plus.Previous experience working within relevant regulations and standards impacting Fugro facilities (e.g., OSHA, DOT, EPA, NFPA, ISO 9001/14001/45001).Must be willing and able to travel up to 30% to Fugro work locations as needed, with the flexibility to work outside of regular business hours to address urgent issues.Strong working knowledge of computers and fluency in common software business applications.Relocation will not) be provided for this job opportunity.
