Primary Responsibilities:
Position will primarily write content for our website and long-form content for social media (e.g, LinkedIn)
Write, edit, proofread, and provide writing support on non-technical and/or technical documents or sections of documents such as manuals, procedures and specifications.Provide a deep understanding of General Program and IT Service Operations policy documentation types and requirements.Ensure documents meet editorial and government specifications by adhering to standards for quality, graphics, coverage, format and style.Create content for knowledge base, evaluate knowledge management initiatives, and circulate relevant articles as needed to appropriate stakeholders.Manage documentation projects to ensure deliverables are completed on time to a high degree of quality.Mentor, train and develop junior staff through structured and informal technical writing training.Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and at least eight years of experience in science/health care writing. With a Master’s degree, Six years of science/health care writing is acceptable.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience working directly with customers to discuss their requirements and objectives.Excellent communication skills, especially when presenting to the client and/or teammates.Working knowledge of the following software: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Visio.Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take initiative.Preferred Qualifications
Strong computer software skills and the ability to quickly adapt to new software/enterprise tools.Adept at using document production and review tools and software to perform the job.Proven experience working in complex projects gathering client feedback and converting them into requirements.Previous experience in a document production environment.Demonstrated experience developing governance and policy documentation for Government customershhsnih

Pay Range:Pay Range $80,600.00 - $145,700.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
