Salary range: The posted UC salary set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5 scales https://www.ucop.edu/academic-personnel-programs/\_files/2024-25/oct-2024-scales/t5-5.pdf The salary range for this position is $136,100-$230,000. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan (https://www.ucop.edu/academic-personnelprograms/files/apm/apm-670.pdf), which provides for eligibility for additional compensation beyond this base salary.

Position description
The Department of Neurology at the University of California, Los Angeles, is recruiting faculty positions at the Assistant Professor level (HS Clinical series) for expansion of our clinical care. This care can be in the subspecialty areas of dementia, neurobehavioral neurology or sports neurology and head injury.
The UCLA Department of Neurology is a high-volume center, and the successful applicant will work closely with neurologists of many subspecialties in an exciting academic practice. The goal of this recruitment is to broaden the training for medical students, residents, and fellows in the field of headache and expand clinical care for patients and families. The successful incumbent will also participate in community outreach and CME activities for related health care providers.
The Department encourages candidates to apply who have experience in and who have demonstrated commitment to working with students from diverse backgrounds and to improving access to higher education for disadvantaged students through teaching and mentoring activities.
Qualifications:
Applications are welcomed from those with doctoral degrees (PhD, MD, or equivalent). The successful applicant must have completed an appropriate subspecialty fellowship program, such as in Headache Medicine. The applicant must have outstanding teaching and clinical skills with specific expertise in Headache Medicine and administration of chemodenervation therapies if trained in Headache disorder. The applicant will participate in the teaching, clinical, and research activities of the UCLA Goldberg Migraine Program.
