We are seeking a systems engineer with a passion for applying systems engineering principles across the full product life cycle of complex health sensors and medical devices features. Join us in delivering health sensor technologies at the intersection of consumer products and medical devices. You will work closely with product stakeholders as well as domain experts to develop and maintain user requirements, evaluate design candidates, and oversee verification and validation activities for our products. You will play a key role in coordinating activities across value streams by applying systems thinking across platforms and features.DescriptionDescriptionYour responsibilities will include the following: - Collaborate with product stakeholders to define and maintain user level requirements. - Transform user level requirements and other stakeholders needs into engineering requirements via systems analysis and functional decomposition. - Develop and maintain architecture diagrams, specification trees, and behavioral models to establish traceability across engineering domains and cross-functional teams. - Identifying critical design risks and collaborate with domain experts to develop mitigation strategies via the use of fault trees, FMEAs, etc. - Conduct impact analysis across design changes and requirements changes, and facilitate trade-off analysis across cross-functional stakeholders. Other responsibilities may additionally include: - Overseeing the requirements management system for one or more health features and/or health sensor technology platforms. - Defining and implementing continuous improvement activities that are intended to prevent quality issues and nonconformance. - Drive strategic initiatives intended to improve the efficiency and scalability of feature and product development.Minimum QualificationsMinimum QualificationsExperienced, dedicated engineer with proven track record of developing sophisticated systems from definition through the project life cycle.Background in one or more of the following: Knowledge of human physiology, experience with user testing, and analyzing sensor data to extract physiological metrics. Optics, sensor interfacing, signal conditioning, and sensor algorithms. Electrical engineering, analog-mixed signal circuits, and embedded systems. Mechanical engineering, electromechanics, product design. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $312,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
