What You’ll Be Doing We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Health Services Director to lead our Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, and Memory Support departments. This vital leadership role ensures exceptional care delivery, regulatory compliance, and a collaborative, resident-centered culture. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations, staffing, and budgets across Health Services Ensure regulatory compliance and clinical documentation standards Lead quality improvement and resident satisfaction initiatives Serve as Compliance & Ethics Officer and HIPAA Privacy Official Collaborate with residents, families, and healthcare partners Support the Executive Director with reporting, policy, and team performance What You’ll Need Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a retirement facility, skilled nursing, or other healthcare environment. Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business or a related field. Valid CA Nursing Home Administrator License. Valid CA RCFE Administrator License is preferred. Current and valid CPR and first aid certification is preferred. Prior progressive leadership experience in a similar setting including budgeting and financial management, department operations, regulatory compliance, program development and management of employees. Working knowledge of long term care facility medical practices and procedures, state and federal privacy laws, state and federal operations regulations, and OSHA. Ability to organize, delegate and manage tasks, resolve complaints and concerns, perform multiple functions simultaneously, function effectively with interruptions, and make effective decisions. Computer systems skills, management and leaderships skills, and communication skills.
