As a Health Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our corporate HSE team and partnering with senior operational management to implement proactive health programs. Role Overview Provide health advice, training, and promotional activities with the support of external medical and allied health providers. Support line/embedded Health and Safety Advisors, HR professionals, and operational leadership with the implementation of health-related programs. Coordinate 3rd party vendors engaged in implementing health-related programs and campaigns. Develop and administer our Health and Hygiene Management Program at operational, line, and corporate levels. Oversee our health information management system, including managing and recording health surveillance and fitness for work information. Participate in our internal assurance process for health-related processes and matters. Provide input to the development and oversight of Health-related Power BI Dashboards. Manage and facilitate our company's Injury Management and Return to Work program in consultation with health and insurance providers. Support Health and Safety Advisors, HR Business Partners, and operational leadership in developing and implementing health promotion programs. Liaise closely with medical and allied health providers that support our health-related processes. Attend health-related industry forums as a representative of our company.
Skills & Qualifications Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively engage stakeholders from a range of backgrounds. Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high levels of internal customer service. Enthusiasm and willingness to learn through formal training and professional development. Genuine interest in helping our employees achieve positive health and wellbeing outcomes. Sound organizational skills, including multitasking, time-management, and influencing without authority. Experience in injury management and return to work processes (preferred). Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of programs. Ability to quickly learn data management systems. Tertiary level qualification in a Health-related discipline.
