Health Unit Clerk-Patient Care Assistant I
Summary Department: Emergency room Schedule: Part Time, 0.6 FTE, 24 hours/week, Day shift 7am-7pm, Every-third weekend rotation Facility: St. Vincent Hospital Location: Green Bay, WI Additional Info: Tuition assitance and same-day pay available Additional questions please contact: amanda.vandenlangenberg@hshs.org Performs patient care under the direction of a registered nurse. Provides care for patients according to the standards of care. Facilitates patient and clerical activities on a unit, documentation, communication of information necessary for patient care, system management, chart assembly and analysis, customer service/public relations activities related to patient care and unit operations. Ensures accurate data collection and data entry to facilitate customer satisfaction and timely and accurate reimbursement for services. Qualifications Education High School Diploma or GED is preferred Experience 1 year of experience in acute care setting is preferred Certifications, Licenses and Registrations BLS (Basic Life Support) is required within 30 days upon hire CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant) or PCT (Patient Care Technician) certification in state of practice is preferred.
