Supports departmental operations by providing effective and timely communications, maintaining a clean, safe, orderly work environment, maintaining data and related records, performing clerical and other support services as directed, and providing assistance in select and limited clinical activities.
Responsibilities
Gives and receives report on assigned shift to oncoming HUC (as applicable) or Charge Nurse, remains at nurse’s station during change of shift to answer telephones and call lightsGreets and offers assistance promptly to all persons entering the unit.Operates all communication systems and relays messages appropriately Maintains nurse's station whiteboard with staff assignments, a/d/t, and other unit-specific information. Schedules patient diagnostics, treatments, and therapies and transport needs as directed. Follows up to assure accuracy of scheduling and communication to patient’s nurse.Ensures timely and appropriate communication and data entry of patient transfers and discharges within 15 minutes of patient departureWhat you will need:

High school diplomaPrevious clerical support experience.
Preferred:
Pay Range: $17.58 – $23.85
Pay is based on experience, skills and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
