This position is a full-time (72 hours bi-weekly) position, hours are 7a-7:30p. + JOB SUMMARY: + The Health Unit Coordinator acts as a part of the Nursing team, and at the direction of unit Supervisors and Director, is integral in supporting patient and unit flow. + PREREQUISITES + Education: High school graduate or equivalent. Prior Experience: Unit Secretary experience preferred. Computer experience required. Knowledge of basic medical terminology preferred. Other: Communicates clearly and effectively, verbally and in writing. Has the ability to organize and prioritize multiple competing demands. Has an approachable, friendly demeanor.
