Whether patients require minimally invasive procedures or major surgeries, this surgical team provides excellent care in a safe, family-friendly environment. **A caregiver in this position works Evenings, from 3:00pm-11:30pm.** A caregiver who excels in this role will: + Conduct an in-person greeting, welcome and orientation to the unit for newly admitted and transferred patients. + Respond to patient call lights and make rounds. + Assist with processing patient admissions, transfers and discharges. + Assist patients and families with wayfinding and direct them to available resources. + Assemble and maintain patient medical records and other documents related to patient care. + Assist with unit clerical functions and in trouble-shooting equipment failures, such as call system, portable phones, WOWs and other unit devices. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + High school diploma or GED. + 1 year of experience in a customer service-related role. + Experience with typing, computer training or equivalent coursework. Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + College degree. + Medical Termonology knowledge + Microsoft Office experience.
