Health & Wellbeing Specialist 
 

Join Mars Australia at our Asquith manufacturing facility, located in Sydney's Upper North Shore, in a role that combines hands-on health management with program development. This diverse position offers an opportunity where you'll drive both compliance and cultural transformation in workplace health. 

We're at an exciting turning point in our workplace health journey. We're moving beyond traditional injury management to build a proactive, supportive health culture. In addition, this role has potential for expansion across further sites, offering opportunities for career growth and increased responsibility. 

This hands-on role requires 80% on-site presence, enabling you to provide direct support to our Associates, deliver timely intervention for health concerns, and ensure effective return-to-work outcomes 
  

What would be your key responsibilities? 

Partner with Mars Australia H&W Manager to develop and implement site-wide wellbeing strategies, aligned with global Be Well Together initiatives and KPIs  

Secure Factory Management Team support and engagement for health programs and associate access 

Design and deliver targeted wellbeing content through workshops and toolbox talks, supporting site wellbeing champions  

Provide early intervention & preventative health support through 'prehab' assessments and lifestyle coaching and advice within scope of clinical expertise. 

Coordinate health surveillance and monitoring activities  

Oversee site first aid facilities and risk assessments  

Lead return-to-work coordination between Associates, line managers, and healthcare providers  

Maintain comprehensive electronic health case files  

Coordinates 3rd party health assessment, site first aid facilities, resources and training, and health monitoring activities. 
  

What are we looking for? 

Tertiary qualification in a Medical or Health discipline (i.e. Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Exercise and Sports Science, Nutrition, Physiotherapy or Nursing). 

Significant Injury Management / Return to Work experience and is familiar with the compliance requirements for these activities. 

Confident facilitator with experience delivering health education and presentations to diverse groups 

Ability to provide high quality lifestyle advice & practical strategies on: diet, exercise, sleep, mental health, strengthening, and injury prevention.   

High level of integrity, trust, and confidentiality are essential.
