Our physician led medical group enjoys an excellent reputation with patients and the medical community, offering primary care, urgent care and more than 30 different specialties. *Job Description* The Health and Wellness Educator empowers students to make informed, healthy choices across all dimensions of their well-being, fostering improved mental, emotional, and physical wellness. This role is instrumental in developing and implementing comprehensive campus-wide health promotion strategies and evidence-based policies that create an environment conducive to student success, personal growth, and holistic wellness. Working collaboratively with the Counseling and Wellness Center and Health Center, this position also helps develop individualized support, treatment, and recovery plans for students facing challenges with alcohol and/or substance use. The Health and Wellness Educator ensures continuity of care by creating seamless connections between students and campus resources, including the Counseling Center, Health Center, and relevant community organizations. This role will design and lead engaging prevention programs, educational workshops, and awareness campaigns that address pressing health concerns affecting college students. Through both individual guidance and community-wide initiatives, the Health and Wellness Educator cultivates an inclusive, supportive campus environment that celebrates diversity and promotes the comprehensive well-being of all students. * Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, clinical psychology, or a related field required. * LAPC, LPC,LCSW, Psy.D, PH,D required. * Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated progressive experience in substance and alcohol abuse treatment preferred. * Experience serving the needs of students from a range of socioeconomic, racial, sexual identity, and other perspectives and backgrounds; ability to determine reasonable accommodations to meet students’ diverse needs preferred We take great care of careers.
