**_Salary Range:_** _$79,960.53 - $83,500 annually. The salary for this position will be determined based on years of qualified experience._

**Background:**
The Baker Victory Healthcare Center is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) charitable corporation, certified by the New York State Department of Health as an Article 28 Diagnostic and Treatment Center. It is a subsidiary of OLV Human Services, a legacy of Father Nelson Baker, that provides a wide range of services to children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and mental and behavioral health challenges.
The Baker Victory Healthcare Center currently operates a Dental Clinic and an Evaluation and Treatment Center for young children exhibiting possible early signs of autism or other developmental disabilities. It is also planning on operating a pediatric primary care practice in the near future. Its operations are primarily located in OLV Human Services’ building at 790 Ridge Road in Lackawanna.
**Job Summary:** The Healthcare Administrator will have executive authority and responsibility for the operation of the Baker Victory Healthcare Center, including management and oversight of the Clinics. The Healthcare Administrator must have training and experience in the types of services provided at the Baker Victory Healthcare Center and possess a strong background in healthcare management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple clinical settings. The Healthcare Administrator will be responsible for efficiently running operations, optimizing patient care, coordinating administrative and clinical staff, and complying with relevant healthcare regulations.
**Essential Job Duties:**
**Operational Management:**
o Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Dental Clinic and Evaluation and Treatment Center and, when applicable, Pediatric Primary Care Clinic, ensuring that all programs run efficiently.
o Supervise and manage staff, including dentists, pediatricians, healthcare providers, administrative personnel, and support staff.
o Develop, implement, and monitor operational policies and procedures to improve clinic performance, patient care, and workflow efficiency.
o Monitor and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including health and safety standards, medical records, billing, patient privacy laws (HIPAA), and Article 28 of the New York State Public Health Law.
o Oversee scheduling and patient flow to maximize resource utilization and reduce wait times.
**Financial Management:**
o Manage budgets for all clinics, ensuring the financial health of the programs.
o Monitor revenue and expenses, implement cost-saving strategies, and drive financial performance through effective resource management.
o Work with billing departments to ensure accurate and timely billing and collections, as well as adherence to insurance policies and reimbursement procedures.
o Develop and implement strategies for increasing patient volume and clinic profitability.
**Patient Care and Satisfaction:**
o Ensure the highest level of patient care and satisfaction across all clinics by addressing concerns, resolving complaints, and ensuring excellent customer service.
o Develop and maintain relationships with patients, their families, and the community, promoting a positive reputation for the organization.
o Ensure that all clinical staff adhere to quality care standards and continuously improve patient outcomes.
**Staff Management and Development:**
o Provide leadership and direction to clinic managers and staff, ensuring high levels of engagement, productivity, and job satisfaction.
o Develop and implement training programs to ensure staff are kept up to date on industry best practices, regulations, and new healthcare technologies.
o Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback and identify areas for professional development.
o Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment that promotes teamwork and communication among all clinic departments.
**Strategic Planning and Growth:**
o Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement long-term strategic goals for the dental, pediatric, and evaluation centers.
o Identify opportunities for service expansion, new programs, and partnerships that will improve patient care and clinic success.
o Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions to achieve established objectives.
**Quality Assurance and Compliance:**
o Implement continuous quality improvement (CQI) programs, monitor key performance metrics, and ensure adherence to best practices in patient care and treatment.
o Work alongside Corporate Compliance Officer to maintain compliance with accreditation standards, certifications, and all legal and ethical guidelines related to healthcare services.
**Reporting:**
o Respond and present to the Board of Directors on all matters relating to the Healthcare Center upon request.
**Misc.**
o Other duties as assigned.
**Skills:**
- Experience in pediatric and/or dental clinic management.
- Familiarity with evaluation and treatment services, particularly for specialized patients
needs.
- Proficiency in staff training and development, fostering a culture of continuous
improvement.
**Minimum Education Required:** Master’s Degree, Business Administration, or a related field
**Minimum Experience Required:**
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare administration, with at least 2 years of experience in managing multi-disciplinary clinics (dental, pediatric, or similar).
-Strong knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations (HIPAA, OSHA, CDC guidelines, etc.).
-Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
-Proven ability to manage budgets, financial reporting, and cost management in a clinical setting.
-Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems and healthcare management software.
-Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
-A strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the overall success of the clinic.
