The Healthcare Assistant (HCA) will be working alongside a small team of clinicians to provide medical assessments.

Requirements
Basic Life Support (BLS)Healthcare assistant Band 2 and/or Band 3Previous experience in an outpatient/occupational healthcare setting preferableStrong communication and interpersonal skillsPrinciple Duties and Responsibilities
Welcome and prepare patients for medical examinationMeasure and record preliminary health checks (e.g. Blood Pressure, Temperature, Pulse, Urinalysis, Peak flow)Prepare and maintain examination rooms ensuring they are clean and well stockedProvide chaperone support where requiredPhlebotomy preferred but training will be provided if necessaryEnsure preliminary health checks are recorded utilising internal IT systemsAdhere to relevant healthcare policies and proceduresMaintain patient confidentiality and comply with data protection regulationsMaintain infection control guidelines to ensure a safe environmentTo apply please contact and submit your application to:
