About the role: 

Healthcare Communications Bussiness Partner is responsible for all internal and external communication activities to support Company business targets. Activities include developing, implementing, and maintaining communications strategies, plans, and programs towards the relevant target groups amongst all Merck stakeholders and delivering the respective tools, media, and content.

 

Your role:

Healthcare communications business partner:

Create stories and content for Therapeutic AreasCollaborate with Product Managers of all TAs and Medical teams to implement a disease awareness programProvide strategic recommendations for BUD and PMEngage with regional comms for best practice sharingSupervise the KPI of the agency partnerEngage with KOLs (patient organization, HCP) together with MedicalEnsure compliance with all programs (QC, Veritas, PDCS, agreement )Update healthcare campaign and program on internal channels (EVA, email blast, etc.)Ensure activity reports and documentation

Corporate and healthcare media relations.

Update and maintain media and journalists list. Lead media relations activities, including public exposure, press briefings, and press-it development.Media monitoring

Corporate Communications

Provide data and healthcare story for the Annual ReportInvolvement in internal Company/cross-functional event management.Participation in issues and crisis communications management.Acts as Program Lead to manage Patient Data Collection Systems (PDCS) and other local health awareness programs in Indonesia, and to report any adverse events and special situations to Shared Service Centre Asia and the Local Pharmacovigilance Responsible person

 

 

Who you role :Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Management, or Marketing and open for related background in communicationsHaving at least 3-5 years of experience in in-house corporate communications or as part of a communications consultancy.Capable of working with people of different seniority levels within the company (managerial and operational), understanding and conveying the value that communications can add to engage internal/external audiences and support business purposes.Must be a quick learner, especially in understanding business and industry matters/issues, as well as internal and external communications tools, to quickly assess/recommend suitable communication strategies and tactics to support diverse objectives.Strong understanding of digital media platforms, social media trends, and emerging technologies.Proficiency in content creation, including writing, editing, and multimedia production.Familiarity with analytics tools to measure and analyze the performance of digital campaigns.Able to communicate in English and have a digital mindset will be preferred
