Healthcare Compliance Manager (Northeast Ohio) Job ID 204081 Posted 30-Jan-2025 Service line GWS Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Health and Safety/Environment Location(s) Cleveland - Ohio - United States of America, Independence - Ohio - United States of America **About the Role:** The purpose of this position is to oversee the compliance management and safety programs for multiple facilities and manage performance metrics in accordance with account Key Performance Indicators. This role will work a hybrid schedule with local travel expected 3-4 days a week. **What You’ll Do** : + Oversee compliance healthcare facility locations in Northeast Ohio. + Risk assessment development, implementation and submission for review and approval. + Water Management Plan (WMP) development to manage microbial risk associated with the building water systems. + Attend weekly in-person meetings. Collaborate on upcoming inspections, code reviews, trainings, and updates. Attend walkthroughs and leadership rounding’s. + Act as subject matter expert for any compliance-related questions that come in weekly from the regions. Perform code studies to ensure the correct information is being relayed on the issue at hand. + Generate monthly Executive Summary reporting dashboard data. + Develop and manage an annual survey spreadsheet that outlines scheduled dates for annual healthcare Mock Surveys, semi-annual internal Mock Surveys, and upcoming TJC or ACHA surveys. + Conduct regular surveys, type out all findings, submit work orders and track in a timely manner. + Survey and support all facilities for adherence to compliance standards. + Construct and perform document review of Joint Commission binders. Build Joint Commission binders as necessary for the regions. + Review vendor's inspection reports for accuracy and work with them for any corrections or additional service documents needed. + Create bi-weekly compliance slides and deliver trainings during the All Hands Calls. + Attend all surveys as the compliance representative for our account. + Attend and support project meetings. + Annual travel out of state to support compliance drills. + Submit, track and manage compliance work orders in work order management program. + Conduct internal Mock Surveys and manage Mock & TJC Surveys. + Collaborate with all other account functions to provide compliance support. **What You’ll Need:** + Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. + Additional certifications as required by the local authority. + Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and problem solve. + Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department. + In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
