The HDA supports the provision of care through creative data management and analysis paired with an understanding of how data can help achieve mission-focused business goals. The HDA is responsible for extracting, compiling, organizing, managing, and analyzing large and varied sets of healthcare data. The HDA communicates findings through the use of data visualization tools, well-crafted reports, and presentations. Collaboration, enthusiasm, curiosity, and a sense of humor are important success factors for all members of our team. Queries, extracts, compiles, organizes, and curates healthcare and related information from multiple sources. Analyzes data and identifies key insights to facilitate effective management and decision-making. Develops reports and presentations to share this insight. Partners with programs to analyze operational challenges and provide related data support and insight to identify solutions. Oversight of data storage and sharing. Prepares detailed specifications and documentation of data processing and analytical methodologies. As a subject matter expert, provides practical and technical and operational advice. Understands the and support mission of supported program / business areas. Act as a key participant in initiatives to evaluate, review, upgrade, develop, and replace systems and technology. Identifies process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and improve data quality. Other duties as assigned. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Healthcare Administration preferred. Experience: Two or more years of related experience in a similar analytical role. Expertise working with databases including SQL server, Snowflake, Oracle, Hive. Proven skill using reporting tools and BI systems including Power BI and Tableau. Demonstrated code writing ability in SQL and Python plus other languages. Comfortable working with a wide range of data types from clinical to financial to regulatory. Process automation expertise is a distinct advantage. Other Requirements: A strong team-based work ethic, enthusiasm, curiosity, and a desire for professional growth. Demonstrated ability to organize goals and objectives, manage data, handle multiple deadlines. Strong oral and written communication skills are essential. Comfort tackling new opportunities is necessary.
