Healthcare, Higher Education and Non-Profit within Specialized IndustriesHealthcare, Higher Education and Non-Profit (HHN) is part of Specialized Industries within Commercial Banking. HHN covers large institutional clients seeking complex solutions in depository credit, treasury management and investment banking.The Head of Healthcare, Higher Education and Non-Profit will lead and develop a national team of managers and individual contributors responsible for a comprehensive strategy across the U.S. for our institutional client needs.Primary ResponsibilitiesProvide vision and set direction for multiple high impact initiatives to achieve long-term strategic objectives that impact organization and management across functions.Collaborate with peers and senior leaders to develop highly complex, multi-year projects, strategies, and objectives for Commercial Banking with a focus on HHN Specialized Industries.Manage banking teams covering large, complex clients with sophisticated decision makers in Treasury Management and Investment Banking.Position business for success to retain and grow leading share around the dramatic changes impacting healthcare providers, higher education institutions, and the elite cultural and service NFP.Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals, including peers and senior leadership, represent the company externally, and strategically lead all levels across the enterprise, to resolve internal escalations, which require the most senior leaders, including complex and significant client issues, while achieving Wells Fargo’s business objectives.Lead cross-organizational, cross-functional working groups comprised of stakeholders from across Commercial Banking and the enterprise to understand client needs and execute strategies.Lead relationship management team to support Business Development Representatives in sourcing new strategic Commercial Banking clients.Measure success aligned with Wells Fargo and Commercial Bank strategic priorities.Lead team to ensure compliance with all regulatory and audit requirements.Provide thought leadership to develop and implement strategic solutions to highly complex and potentially companywide and across Commercial Banking business challenges.Provide subject matter expertise to peers and leaders to develop, retain, and grow highly complex and strategic client relationships.Partner with Commercial Lending Product Management to provide vision, leadership, and expertise on client and market needs that enable highly complex companywide strategies that significantly influence the organization's business and influence financial operations.Required8+ years of Commercial Banking Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.4+ years of management experienceDesiredExpert banking experience within healthcare, higher-education, and cultural/service NFP industries.Expert experience managing banking teams covering large, complex clients across Treasury Management and Investment Banking.Proven strategic leader in positioning business for success to retain and grow leading share around the dramatic changes impacting healthcare providers, higher education institutions, and the elite cultural and service NFP.Effective communicator in partnering and communication to internal and external key stakeholders.Excellent leadership and discipline on strategy, client selection, managing reputational risks, and enterprise connectivity to clients.Ability to identify, understand, and analyze growth opportunities based on market potential.Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment.Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Knowledge and understanding of strategic planning and execution.Strong negotiating skills.Job Location:Charlotte, New York, and core locations will be considered.

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$276,400.00 - $645,000.00
