The Technical Analyst will work on multiple projects at a time requiring the ability to effectively multitask and rapidly shift focus throughout the day.Provide technical analysis and implementation leadership during the full lifecycle of application interface implementation for both HL7 real-time interfaces and batch file transfer interfaces.Lead collaboration with application analysts, vendors, business owners, and clinical owners to define system automated interface specifications, implement interfaces to meet requirements and achieve operational stability.Lead business process analysis and manage usability requirements, system access and security.Ensure stability of data management and transfers through systems, for maintaining the integrity of the data residing on systems, facilitating and performing validations, and error resolution and decision making to complete or support business processing requirements.Provide real-time HL7 and file transfer interface subject matter expert leadership and coordinate modifications, issue identification and resolution, as well as process and data testing.13Participate in process development representing system functionality, consult user community on improvement opportunities and liaison between users, IT technical staff and vendor relationships.Maintain an expertise in systems technology, applications and processes related to the support of real time HL7 data integrations throughout all the organizations systems.Ensure interface implementation maintains appropriate PHI security for the organization. Provide analytical guidance and expertise in developing technical specifications/requirements and documentation for real-time interfaces and batch file transfers.Lead the design, planning, building, configuration, and testing of interfaces based upon submitted specifications.Analyze, evaluate, and create integration impact assessments / technical requirements based upon user and end point application functional requirements.Manage and participate in projects with varying levels of scope and complexity.Work with vendors to ensure needed coordination is in place between application owners and Integration development and support teams.Participate in development planning sessions, weekly team status meetings and create/update appropriate project management documentation as required.Drive performance and stability of Enterprise Application Integration supported applications through a structured support model and adherence to change management policies and procedures.Develop and build interfaces for a nationally recognized healthcare system.Lead complex Integration development projects; including the execution of detailed project plan tasks.Experience with ambulatory health or hospital electronic health records, clinical, ancillary systems, and administrative systemsExperience with regulations and accreditation standards, knowledge of specific state and federal requirements and standards related to the management of patient health information.Solid understanding of clinical vocabularies gained from hands-on experience in a clinical provider based environment, such as, medical or hospital administrative support staff, clinician experience, Healthcare System IT or IS background, clinical systems development.Work with internal and external clinical and business users, understand their needs and translate those needs to requirements, use cases or user stories.Work with the technical resources, understand their needs and coordinate their efforts to deliver the final project solution.Understand project implementation methodologies such as Agile SCRUM, Waterfall, PMI best practices.Conducts requirements gathering activities by studying clinical integration functions, current best practices, and evaluate data needs for specific business needsExecutes requirements definition and documentation, analysis, story and requirement growth, modeling and development, logical system and data or transaction design and high level estimating.Drives the QA effort in test plan creation, educating QA resources, validating requirements within the test coverage in test scripts, use cases, user stories and acceptance criteria.Works collaboratively with clinical and business resources to develop and implement the specific technology and integration necessary to deliver clinical and business solutions.Construct workflows and identifies data needs and data mapping requirements.Maintains a detailed understanding and working knowledge of current clinical systems, their functions, and their relationships to other information systems within the enterprise.Performs analysis of findings to define integration business requirements and development specifications.Works closely with cross-functional teams to leverage internal knowledge and innovation.Identifies relationships and implications for existing products and services.Documents clinical and business requirements, product design specifications and business case.Configuration of solutions through database scripts, Interface Engine, and other setup files.Supporting customer calls on various projects at different stagesWalking customers through scenarios to find the best solution/configuration for their systemWork with customers to understand their roadmap, project goals and requirements to propose solutions that meet their needsWork on providing HIE solutions to achieve Meaning Full Use for CustomersDevelop Scope/Project Workbook documents for Implementation of new HL7/XML/CCD
