Are you a people person with a passion for healthcare and helping others? We're looking for a dynamic Healthcare Navigator to play a key role in connecting patients with the OBGYN services they need, ensuring a smooth and seamless experience from start to finish. If you’re a natural at building relationships, solving problems, and providing exceptional customer service, we want you on our team!

As a Healthcare Navigator, you’ll coordinate healthcare services through teamwork and collaboration, focusing on engaging new patients, guiding them through appointments, and helping them understand billing information. You'll be the go-to person for making sure patients feel supported and informed every step of the way. Plus, you’ll be out in the community, spreading the word about the amazing services we offer and bringing new patients into the fold.

What You’ll Do:

Be the First Point of Contact: Welcome and guide new patients into our OBGYN services, ensuring they understand the process and feel supported from the moment they walk through the door.Smooth Scheduling: Manage patient appointments with ease, ensuring all the details are taken care of and that patients get to the right place at the right time.Billing Made Easy: Help patients navigate and understand their billing information, ensuring transparency and satisfaction.Problem-Solving Pro: Work with the healthcare team to identify and resolve any barriers that might impact a patient's experience, creating solutions that keep everything running smoothly.Community Engagement: Represent the Healthcare Navigator program at community events, building relationships and registering new patients to expand our services.Collaborate & Build Relationships: Foster strong connections with physicians and staff across the organization, working together to accommodate patient needs and increase patient volumes.Support Revenue Cycle Education: Serve as a backup resource for clinical scheduling and quality programs, helping educate others and improve processes.

What You Need to Bring:

Education Background: Bachelor’s degree or a combination of education and relevant work experience.Communication Skills: Outgoing personality with excellent verbal and written communication skills to connect with patients and team members alike.Knowledgeable: Ability to learn and maintain a solid understanding of resources and services within our organization, University Health, and the community.Calm & Collected: Ability to stay calm and professional in a high-stress environment, using good judgment to solve problems and maintain superior customer service.Interpersonal Skills: Excellent at working with people from all walks of life, respecting diverse backgrounds and perspectives.Tech-Savvy: Ability to use scheduling software, interpret billing information, and document patient contacts in Excel or other database systems.Professional Appearance: Represent the organization in a way that enhances patient satisfaction and builds trust.

Preferred Qualifications:

Background in healthcare, sales, hospitality, or customer service.Proven success in building and maintaining relationships that lead to positive outcomes.Strong problem-solving skills to create smooth experiences for patients and team members.
