As a Public Health Associate Director, you will:

Advise c-suite level executives on the development of system-wide healthcare delivery strategy including determining when, where, and how to provide care from a facilities perspectiveAdvise clients on all aspects of a health care enterprise (i.e. infrastructure, financial, service line planning, staffing models, etc.) Lead team(s) conducting studies to improve healthcare planning and delivery for clientsDevelop strategies and solutions to solve complex healthcare system design, delivery, and capital planning challenges for our healthcare clientsBrief senior clients on results of planning, studies, and analytical reviewsOversee, mentor, and develop managing consultants, senior consultants, and analystsExecute and ensure high quality client deliverables, including synthesizing the strategic, financial and operational implications of analysesContribute to the firm’s business development efforts and other internal firm initiatives


What You Will Need:

Bachelor's degree12+ years of experience in the healthcare industry with strong experience in healthcare system design and capital planningPrevious multi-facility provider strategic planning experience and/or healthcare strategy management consulting experienceExperience with partnership development and executionKnowledge of health care operations across acute, post-acute, and ambulatory care settings.Experience using benchmarks to assess operational effectiveness (e.g., departmental throughput, workforce productivity) to inform pre-design facility planningExperience assessing the adequacy of space to meet projected health care demand across inpatient and outpatient settings to inform pre-design facility planningExperience presenting potential operational enhancements and/or capital investments to providers and health system executives to improve care quality and efficiencyExperience conducting research and analysis required to support the healthcare planning process, including utilization forecasts, capacity analysis, and in-migration/outmigration studies

What Would Be Nice To Have:

Strategic master facilities and network planning experience ​Experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Health and Human Services, or the Military Health SystemExperience in a large-scale integrated health care system, ideally with a substantive focus on Veteran or Military healthcare 
 

The annual salary range for this position is $149,000.00-$248,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
