Overview The Human Resources Recruiter works independently in a proactive, high-volume work environment and serves as a partner with hiring managers, teams, colleagues and community resources to effectively support the recruitment and retention of WakeMed's extraordinary team. The Recruiter is skilled in sourcing techniques, pre-qualifying, screening, recommending, on-boarding, negotiating, preparing offers and seeking candidates who exemplify the Wake Way Behaviors: Respect for People, Teamwork, Communication, and Commitment and Accountability. As a knowledgeable business partner the recruiter is adept at working with others to form long term relationships, completing site visits to know the content of the jobs recruits and hires for representing a broad/deep range of positions in clinical, professional, technical and support areas. The Recruiter is knowledgeable about state and federal laws/regulations pertinent to the employment function and serves as a knowledgeable ambassador for WakeMed positions. Department Description Talent Acquisition at WakeMed is a team comprised of 12+ talented and experienced healthcare recruitment professionals responsible for the staffing fulfillment of 90 different and diversified departments across the WakeMed enterprise. Areas of focus are in clinical, support services, technical, facilities, environmental, financial, and administration to name a few. Provided with the latest technology and ongoing learning support, WakeMed's Talent Acquisition team is directly involved with the hiring managers to provide innovative recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategy. Well respected throughout the organization; this team as well as HR Representative support has grown substantially over the last few years as WakeMed continues to expand and thrive in our community. Licensure Professional in Human Resources Or Certified Health Care Recruiter Or SHRM Senior Certified Professional Preferred Education Bachelor's Degree Business Administration Or Related Field Required Experience 3 Years Human Resources Required - And Human Resources - Recruitment Preferred
