General Summary
The program administrator is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the comprehensive Heart Failure program and other assigned programs within the heart and vascular service line. This system level role works collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and involves developing and implementing programs to improve and expand services and ensure that the department meets organizational goals. A key focus is on developing new programs aimed at improving cardiovascular care and patient outcomes. The role involves collaborating with clinical teams, managing performance metrics, and driving strategic initiatives to enhance service quality across the system.

Is an active member of hospital and community committees that are related to heart failure patient care and community awareness. Represents the program at local, state and national meetings.Serves as a liaison with pre-hospital providers, EMS, acute rehabilitation centers, other centers, clinics, government agencies and associations.Assists with the development of the annual budget related to the heart failure program, both operating and capital expenses. Ensures quality care is given while maximizing financial reimbursement and developing opportunities for cost savings.Demonstrates motivation for learning through independent reading, professional networking and attending relevant conferences and seminars.Provides outstanding service to all customers; fosters teamwork; and practices fiscal responsibility through improvement and innovationQualifications
