**Summary:**
Full Time, Mon-Fri 8:30am - 5pm
The Heart Station Tech has basic understanding of Cardiac Arrhythmias. The Heart Station Tech helps with triage of patients in clinic, performs EKG's, applies and scans Holters and Event monitors, and performs Cardiac Stress Testing. The Tech Prepares Pacemaker/ICD electronic transmissions for interpretation.

**Description**
1. Performs Electrocardiograms. Processes results, reviews charges, and communicates with interpreting physicians when there are system issues.
2. Applies and scans Holter and event monitors. Manages return of monitors, and communicates with families when monitors are overdue.
3. Performs Cardiac stress test with overseeing Providers. Manages order to completed reports.
4. Assist with pacemaker evaluation and Paceart Evaluations. Assures billing is completed in timely fashion.
5. Maintains and Inspects Departmental equipment daily for cleanliness or any malfunctions.
6. Completes patient care (may include V/S, heights, weights, head circumference, and other patient care related assignments) in a safe, efficient and timely manner.
7. Documents patient care and other assignments according to department guidelines and assists with admission, transfer and discharge as directed by licensed staff.
8. Performs other duties as assigned.
