Heat Pump Engineer

Adecco Permanent Recruitment has partnered with a leading appliance manufacturer to recruit and hire a full time **Heat Pump Engineer** in the Johnson City-Kingsport area.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in thermodynamics, HVAC systems, and energy-efficient technologies.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Design & Development: Develop and optimize heat pump systems, including air-source, ground-source, and water-source models.
+ Performance Analysis: Conduct thermal and performance testing, analyze results, and implement improvements.
+ Prototyping: Oversee the creation of prototypes and ensure designs meet industry standards.
+ System Integration: Integrate heat pumps into broader HVAC or energy systems for maximum efficiency.
+ Compliance: Ensure all products meet local, national, and international standards and certifications.
+ Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers.
+ Documentation: Create technical documentation, including design specifications, user manuals, and test reports.
+ R&D: Stay updated on the latest advancements in heat pump technology and renewable energy systems.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or related field.
+ 3-5+ years in heat pump design or HVAC system engineering.
+ Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
+ Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer.
+ Familiarity with refrigerants and heat exchanger technologies.
+ _Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent (preferred)._

**Pay Details:** $100,000.00 to $115,000.00 per year
