Job Description
We have an immediate opening for a Heat Treat Helper in our Rancho Cucamonga Operations. This position is a key member of the Heat Treat team and is highly visible, requiring travel to different sites within California. We have openings in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. ResponsibilitiesAssist in heat treat applications for titanium, nickel-based alloys, stainless, and alloy steels.Operate, adjust, and perform routine maintenance on all furnace controllers.Move parts on and off pallets.Read and interpret shop order instructions, specifications, and other written and verbal instructions.Load and unload furnaces.Place workpiece into heating furnace for a specified period of time.Learn to perform hardness inspection and read conversion table (ASTM E140).Prepare load couples.Grind parts.Understand and follow company procedures and work instructions.Maintain a safe and organized workstation and adhere to all company policies, safety guidelines, and procedures.Essential SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent GED.Minimum six to twelve months of related experience and/or training.Legally authorized to work in the United States (verification required at the time of hire).Understanding of International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements.Additional Skills & QualificationsComfortable working in a hot production environment.Experience working with a maintenance team.Export Controls Questionnaire required; must have passport, birth certificate, or permanent resident card.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
This position operates in a production environment, both inside the department and outside. The 3rd shift hours are from 5:00 PM to 5:30 AM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rancho Cucamonga, California.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
