If you are a Heavy Civil Construction Estimator with experience, please read on!What You Will Be DoingThe preferred candidate will be responsible for the estimating of heavy civil infrastructure projects with various scopes of work including but not limited to earthwork, grading, pile driving, concrete structures, heavy highway paving, and related civil scopes of work. This position will work closely with other estimators, project managers, and the Chief Estimator contributing to the completion of cost estimates, bid schedules, execution plans, and any other required documents as part of a complete proposal package. Attention to detail along with excellent written and verbal communication, is required to be successful in this role.

Responsibilities:

Highly motivated, 5+ years of relevant highway or site work and/or estimating experience preferred, degree in construction management or engineering preferred but not required, strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and/or Heavy Bid (HCSS), strong verbal and written communication skills, strong knowledge of construction materials and methods, strong knowledge of mathematics, basic knowledge of Primavera (P6) or professional construction scheduling.What You Need for this PositionAt least 7 to 10 years experience:
- Heavy Civil / Roadway Experience
- Earthwork, Grading, Concrete Structures
- Aggregate Placement, Asphalt Paving, Heavy Highway (DOT), Bridges, and Infrastructure
- 5+ years of estimating experience utilizing software like HCCS, Heavy Bid, AGTEK, OST, P6, Excel or equivalent.
- Heavy Civil / Roadway experience: 7 years (Required)
