The Calgary shop specializes in truck-mounted hydraulic utility equipment such as aerial bucket trucks, digger derricks, hi-rail trucks, cranes; or related equipment, construction, mining, farm equipment is desired. **Service Technician -** **Journeyman Alberta Skilled Trades Ticket or Red Seal, Heavy Duty Truck a plus.** Experience with truck-mounted hydraulic utility equipment such as aerial devices, digger derricks, cranes; or related equipment, construction, mining, farm equipment is desired. + **Perform CVIP (Commercial Vehicle Inspection Program)** + Monday - Friday, 7am – 3:30pm (overtime as needed) + Must hold a valid driver’s (Class 1 or 3 a plus) + CTOS offers competitive pay, paid time off, extended healthcare, RRSP, DPSP and more. **Job Duties:** + Perform replacement of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components + Assess, diagnose, repair and/or replace damaged / worn parts on a variety of vocational / utility trucks & equipment. + Provide repair and maintenance to medium / heavy duty trucks, and background in hydraulics and electrical is a plus. + Assess, diagnose, repair and/or replace damaged or worn parts for variety of manufacturers of utility equipment to ensure quality standards are achieved. + Prepare and maintain accurate records of parts, services and labor to track costs so vehicles can be properly priced and reflect the value of quality offered by the company. + Submit all work/repair orders as required to a supervisor for approval to ensure budgets are maintained and costs of vehicle repairs accurately reflected. + Perform all duties in accordance with best practices for a safe work environment. + Attend monthly safety meetings held by Custom Truck One Source. + Other duties as assigned. **Basic Skills:** + High School Diploma, provincially approved High School Equivalency, or GED + Journeyman or Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician - Off Road and/or On Road is desired. + Basic computer skills with Microsoft office + Must hold a valid driver’s license. + Must have your own tools. + Physical effort to move objects and tools; frequent stooping, bending, squatting, and kneeling and a high level of dexterity. **We Power the People That Strengthen Our Nation’s Infrastructure** Explore the dynamic world of Custom Truck One Source (https://www.customtruck.com/careers) , where each role is a step toward driving the nation’s infrastructure forward with innovative solutions and dedicated service.
