What you will do:

Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with Nutrien safety policies and procedures Provide technical diagnosis, perform maintenance, complete troubleshooting and repair work on various large mining equipment Rebuild/overhaul large mining equipment and associated parts Read and interpret drawings and specificications Hydraulic system installation, settings, troubleshooting and repair Follow and contribute to continous inprovement of safety and maintenance policies and procedures Work together with other trades, operations staff, and outside contractors as required Support continuous improvement programs by maintaining equipment records and repair history and providing data for cause and failure analysis

 

What you will bring:

A valid Saskatchewan or Interprovincial Certificate of Journeyperson Status (Red Seal) as a Heavy Duty Mechanic or Agricultural Mechanic  Grade 12 or GED Demonstrated commitment toward safety Stable work record with 3 to 5 years' experience, preferably in an underground mine Excellent interpersonal and communication skills High attention to detail Experience with precision measurement tools would be considered an asset
