PRIMARY PURPOSE: To inspect, identify, and evaluate heavy equipment and machinery involved in a loss.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
Appraises and determines costs of repairs to damaged equipment.Evaluates and determines if the unit of equipment is repairable or salvageable.Identifies potential subrogation issues.Prepares written analyses and reports.ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs other duties as assigned.Supports the organization's quality program(s).Travels as required.QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Licensing
High school diploma or GED required. Licenses as required.
Experience
Three (3) years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required to include at least one (1) year of heavy equipment experience.
Skills & Knowledge
Thorough knowledge of operating heavy equipmentAbility to understand and utilize appraisal softwareExcellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skillsPC literate, including proficiency in Microsoft Office productsAnalytical and interpretive skillsAbility to work independently or in a team environmentAbility to meet or exceed Performance CompetenciesWORK ENVIRONMENT

As required by law, Sedgwick provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in jurisdictions requiring pay transparency in job postings. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and cost of specific location. For the jurisdiction noted in this job posting only, the range of starting pay for this role is $80,000.00 to $120,000.00 USD annual salary. Bonus eligible role. A comprehensive benefits package is offered including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, 401k and matching, PTO, disability and life insurance, employee assistance, flexible spending or health savings account, and other additional voluntary benefits.
