Our Equipment Field Technician is primarily responsible for troubleshooting, servicing and repairing heavy machinery at the customer’s worksite. This includes large and small earthmoving equipment. You represent Foley Equipment off-site and help our customers with critical repairs.

 

Hourly Base Rate: $27.76 - $61.60 / hour

Job duties:

Perform all levels of repair and preventative maintenance on heavy machinery, diagnose and troubleshoot problems, make recommendations for repairs and perform critical repairs and adjustmentMust be willing to work overtime as required by fluctuating workloads and available for after-hours calls as neededPerform required DOT inspections to ensure service truck is in proper, safe working orderTest and verify correct operation of all repairs and adjustmentsDevelop and maintain long-lasting working relationships with customersTravel is required for training and/or to assist at other locations.

Our Ideal Candidate:

Basic mechanical knowledge including electrical and hydraulicsClass A CDL required or ability to obtain CDL within three months of start dateGeneral knowledge of basic hand tools, air tools, precision measuring tools and instrumentsMust be able to read and comprehend specifications, service and parts literature, technical bulletins and other related publicationsAbility to drive and valid CDL license required
