Key Responsibilities As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will: + Operate front-end loaders safely and efficiently. + Conduct routine equipment inspections and report any issues. + Load materials into plants based on production needs. + Gain expertise in aggregate sizes, classifications, and weight requirements. + Work collaboratively and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment. + Adhere strictly to all safety policies and procedures. + Take initiative, working independently with minimal supervision. What We’re Looking For + Proficiency in operating front-end loaders. + Minimum of 2 years’ experience operating heavy equipment (preferred). + Experience with rock crushers and screening equipment is a bonus. Skills & Abilities + Strong safety mindset and adherence to safety regulations. + Team-oriented with the ability to work independently when needed. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Detail-oriented with strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities. + Capable of managing pressure, emergencies, and tight deadlines. + Reliable and ethical with a focus on building positive relationships. + Willingness to work flexible schedules, including various shifts, overtime, and out-of-town assignments. Physical Requirements This role involves: + Lift and carry 25-50 lbs. regularly. + Perform repetitive movements like bending, kneeling, squatting, and twisting. + Sit or stand for long periods and navigate uneven terrain. + Work outdoors in all types of weather and noisy environments. + Frequent sitting + Occasional push/pull + Rarely bending/stooping + Rarely climbing + Occasional reaching + Continuous grasping equipment controls + Occasional fine manipulation + Frequent use of Foot controls Pre-Employment Requirements + Passing a pre-employment drug test. + Successfully completing a pre-employment physical.
