Responsible for tracking equipment and components, creating weekly maintenance schedules, ensuring compliance to the planned maintenance program through the work management system, and organizing resources to ensure planned work is completed safely and efficiently.

Creates work orders as requiredManages Work order backlog Ensures open work orders meet required standard, and status is kept up to dateOil Sampling Program
Prepares samples for analysis and reviews results and generates follow-up actions as requiredReview and apply on board equipment monitoring data to identifyingComponent Tracking
Updates component records; maintains accurate component historyUpdates component failure tracking systemIdentifies warranty opportunities and prepares background information for warranty claims.Weekly Maintenance Schedule
Responsible for developing and communicating the Weekly Maintenance plan in conjunction with maintenance supervision. Ensure resources are in place to perform the planned work (Parts, Labour, shop space etc.)Monitors compliance to plan, and reconciles plan vs actualMonitors progress of actual planned work through shop and field visits Generates weekly and monthly plan compliance statisticsJob Planning

Complete adhoc reports and projects as requestedMaintain a safe work environment in regards to all maintenance workProvide direction to junior planners and aide in personal development Qualifications Minimum three years experience relating to maintenanceIndustrial construction and/or mining experience preferred.Mechanical related secondary education (Diploma or Degree)Journeyman Trades ticket is an assetEquivalent experience in lieu of Journeyman Ticket or Post Secondary Education will be consideredCapable of both strategic and tactical thinking with a drive to meet quality, cost and schedule targets.Thorough knowledge of maintenance practices and procedures.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Detailed working knowledge of planning tools (JD Edwards, SAP, MS Office Package, etc).Detailed working knowledge of scheduling tools (Primavera, Microsoft Project, etc).
