Overview As a Field Mechanic you will be responsible for preventive maintenance, repairing, and emergency repairs for heavy construction equipment with a primary focus on hydraulics, electrical, pneumatic, engine (Gas and Diesel) troubleshooting systems and welding fabrication required. CMV driver qualification required. Responsibilities + Perform preventative maintenance, repair and emergency repairs on RoadGuards fleet of equipment that involves heavy construction equipment, some proprietary equipment, and other smaller pieces of equipment. + Work Environment + Field + Shop + Physical Demands + Work in all weather conditions; extreme heat and cold conditions + Work on uneven ground + Ability to ascend and descend access points on equipment + Ability to stand for 8-12 hours + Ability to lift 50 pounds + Ability to drive a company vehicle + Ability to drive for up to 11 hours + Ability to pass CMV driver requirements Travel:Heavy regional travel, typically within 2-4 hours of home base.
