**Job Title: Equipment Mechanic** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Equipment Mechanic with a working knowledge of the standard practices, materials, tools, and equipment used in the repair and maintenance of machinery and engines. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in the use of a variety of hand tools, mechanized tools, jacks, and hoists, as well as diagnostic testing and tuning equipment. Experience with gas and electric welding equipment is essential. The role requires the ability to read manuals and schematics, rebuild engines and major driveline components, and possess strong troubleshooting skills. **Responsibilities** + Repair and maintain machinery and engines using standard practices, materials, tools, and equipment. + Utilize a variety of hand tools, mechanized tools, jacks, and hoists for repair work. + Conduct diagnostic testing and tuning of equipment. + Use gas and electric welding equipment as necessary. + Read and interpret manuals and schematics. + Rebuild engines and major driveline components. + Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues. + Read and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics. + Perform preventive maintenance tasks as required. **Essential Skills** + Knowledge of diesel engines and troubleshooting techniques. + Experience with heavy equipment, hydraulics, and mechanical systems. + Proficiency in pneumatics and diagnostic testing. + Ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics. + Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience as a Shop Mechanic or Mobile Mechanic. + Knowledge of hydraulic systems and construction equipment. + Experience with heavy equipment such as backhoes and excavators. **Why Work Here?** We offer great benefits and access to our own credit union with extremely low interest rates on vehicles.
