What you’re responsible for:
Supervising a team of 421a mechanics in the daily operationsPerforming maintenance, repair, and diagnostics on a wide range of heavy machinery and equipment used in metal recycling operationsConducting routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipmentTroubleshooting and identify issues with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systemsCompleting repairs and replacements of faulty components, adhering to safety and quality standardsCollaborating with the maintenance team to schedule and prioritize repair tasks efficientlyMaintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and log work performedAdhering to all safety protocols and guidelines while conducting maintenance and repairsQualificationsTo join our team:
421a certificationPrevious experience as a 421A Mechanic/SupervisorSolid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systemsAbility to read and interpret equipment manuals and schematicsProficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment issuesStrong commitment to safety and adherence to industry regulationsPhysical ability to handle the demands of the job, including lifting and working in various weather conditionsAdditional Information
