Heavy Equipment Operator
**Job Title:** Heavy Equipment Operator **Location:** Sterling, CO **Project Duration:** 3 months **Pay:** $25 - $35/hr **Per Diem:** $120/day **Job Description:** We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team for a 3-month project in Sterling, CO. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery to assist with construction and maintenance tasks on the project site. **Key Responsibilities:** + Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and graders to perform construction tasks. + Conduct pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on equipment to ensure it is in good working condition. + Follow project plans and specifications to complete tasks accurately and efficiently. + Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery. + Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members to coordinate work activities. + Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance. **Qualifications:** + Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator in the construction industry. + Valid certification or license to operate heavy machinery. + Strong knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to heavy equipment operation. + Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications. + Good physical condition and ability to perform manual labor. + Excellent communication and teamwork skills. **Compensation:** + Competitive hourly wage (to be discussed during the interview process). + $120/day per diem to cover daily expenses. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $48.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
